Right now i have a snap on heavy duty cage...and the grills look small but some people said that a corn can still escape from it....well anyways.....i saw something called "Mosquito Screen Netting" (it looks exactly like those screen covers u would pay like $20 for.....i am jusr gonna attach it to my grill so that the holes will be smaller.....the net costs like $6.99 Canadian and it gives u so much =)

You could probbaly use that and make ur own covers! (it comes in fibre glass material and aluminium!)

Just get a screen top with the clips. If you don't think that will work buy extra clips. They work. period end of discussion.
I am sure you are going to get your feelings hurt and a few people here will think I am being mean but.........
I know you have some questions and want to learn as much as possible to give a snake a good home but come on. Some of the questions you ask are doing nothing but taking up space. There are other people trying to get help also and when you post twenty posts a day, a lot of other people's questions are getting unanswered because they are getting lost way down the page.
Stupid questions like can I keep a ball python with a corn are a waste of time and space.
Especially when you come back with..."just Joking"
Legitimate questions are fine but don't keep posting just to read your name on the forum.
sorry if this hurts your feelings but that is the way I feel after trying to read past a page full of your inane posts.

Try to write down all your questions throughout the day and then post them all in ONE message...i agree w/draybar in that some posts are going to just get lots of people mad due like...'who here thinks corn snakes are evil'
Lots of people use this forum, so ...it may be good to post all your questions throughout a day ONCE in ONE post. just an idea

If your snake escapes. Screen lids are very effective at keeping the snake in and are cheaper than a new snake. Do-it-yourself netting is very difficult to make escape proof, and snakes will escape if they possibly can. It's in their nature.
Besides, screen lids and clips cost $12.50 where I live. If you can't afford than, how are you going to afford vet bills if the need arises?
