Canary Clutch!

CrestedGecko.com Dec 27, 2007 04:56 PM

I acquired a really nice pair of Kafiau Island (Canary) Chondros in 2005. The male turned partially green after about a year, but the female is still highlight marker yellow. The pair bred in late Summer and early Fall. The female laid a clutch of 11 perfect eggs yesterday. As far as I know, very few of these have ever been produced in captivity. I just wanted to share this with everyone here. Let me know what you think!

Thanks,

Garrick DeMeyer

Congratulations Garrick! Well done and good luck with the clutch. If you get some neo's I'd love to acquire some. Take care and Happy New Year.

congrats on the clutch and that female looks awesome. Gulf Coast reptiles produced a very nice clutch earlier this year from a still yellow pair they acquired a few years ago and I must say they are my favorite locale by far (the are as tame as any aru I've been around).

Congratulations, Garrick! Can't wait to see you post pics of the hatchlings.

Here's the little one we got from you in '06 - just sexed out as a male, and he's doing great!
