This is Boo, my male leo. What do you think? I know he's a normal but i like him alot. He's now in his own 20gal long tank and seems to be very happy. He still sits in his dish when he wants more food and eats. Its sooooooo cute.

For the first time ever i came home today to find him in his humid hide. I believe it was due to the UTH being a bit to warm (95degrees according the temp strip on the tile). Its weird that the temp went up that much cause it actually was pretty cool here today. Last night it was reading 89.

Do you think he's looking good, fat enough etc?
Thanks for the responces

what a beautiful little piece of living Artwork!!!
the temps are cooling down alot, such a drastic change really....from boiling in the 90's last week, we are now relaxing in the high 70's and very low 80's. it kinda makes sense tho, since Mabon is gonna be here on Sept. 23 so it can't stay warm for much longer!!!

Thankyou, he's got quite the personality

Fall is my favourite time of the year, except for the lowering temps and the fact it leads into winter. Up here winter is so brutal sometimes that i wish i could move lol. The room my geckos are in gets pretty cold in the winter so i'll either have to move them or just crank up the heat down here.

Thanks again. Hopefully Boo will get a room mate and sire some beautiful babies hehehe, but not for a while yet

Yep thats an ashtray, one thats never been used for smokes though!!! I have a box full of different dishes i've tried and that one is perfect. In my old setup i had a dish i thought worked great until i cleaned out all the sand and found mealworms that had escaped. I have a stock pile of a slightly different ash tray (taller and has a Canadian Flag imbedded in the glass) that i'll be using for any other leos i get

Boo can see the mealworms moving through the glass and i usually leave it full but lately i've been hand feeding him to try to get him to be a bit more friendly. He's starting to come around but i still can't hold him

Thanks for the post

I like the ash tray.

I really love my normals too. They're so good: eating whatever I put in front of them, even when I tried feeding them the Can O' Worms. I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Thankyou

I love Boo alot but i'm still just itching to get a blizzard male and a few female patternless I have enough tanks setup but i'm at a loss right now as to where to buy. I was hoping to get some at the Toronto show but i'm unable to attend.....My job is going to send me to the looney bin one of these days...

Thankyou for the comment.......the ash trays work great, little mealies can't escape

I tried using one of those clear plastic bead containers, but it just confused the heck out of my leos. They're actually big enough to see into a regular small pet dish though.

smoking is a nasty habit and well we're doing our best to quit.

At least with the geckos around i don't smoke as much. I know what its doing to my lungs and i don't want to hurt them.
I'm silly, i know i know, i should quit Working on it
