Hi, did someone have sccessfully make monitor loose weight? If yes, how?

a proper setup, with proper temps, will help to bring your animal out of obesity, and into a normal weight range. i wouldn't eliminate feeding during that time, starvation is not the answer, but limiting food intake certainly helps. look to offer more feeder insects, and less rodents, you will gain activity, but limit caloric intake.

basking for an adult should be 130F , daytime ambient in the low to mid 80's, night temps down into the 70's.
