So I have a appointment for my iguana to see my rep vet monday

i feel she might have respatory infection .. and i dont want it to get any worse then what it is ..
shes making a clicking noise and she opens her mouth up alittle it looks like shes having trouble breathing .
but i also noticed red around the sides of her mouth sadly i think it's mouth rot that secondory infection
and shes burning her noise on i dont know what in her cage but shes driving me crazy lol

her cage is small and i want to make her a bigger one but at the moment im struggling with everything else.

he cage is a corner cage the frame is like a metal mess and the top too so the lights go above it.
i think shes scratching to come out of the cage becuase its to small and i feel bad right now and i know i need to build her one soon .

as i said she was not eatting good like a few bites a week
but then 2 days ago she started eatting like a piggy again
she loves her butternut squash . .. and mustard and collard greens .
adopted melvina though shes about 3 1/2 years old...
when she was little she had MBD . and almost died what her past owners told me they did not want her anymore so i took her in and they gave me the cage she was in .
but ive started to notice that her cage is so unsafe for her and smaller then what it should be ... so im going to plan her cage when i get my next check .
anyone have any ideas on a good cage design ? i want to make it the best for her and of corse safe ..
she may hate my guts but at lease im trying to take care of her .

I think a bigger cage is definately in order. If she ends
up having a respiratory infection you are going to need to
reevaluate your temperatures and habitat set-up. As you know,
correct temperatures are essential.

I would suggest builder her a cage. You can make it to your
specifications and it will save you alot of money.

Keep us posted
