Thermostats

southwick_herps Dec 28, 2007 06:27 PM

I'm buying a new rack for my balls, I've previously just used aquariums.. Where do I place the thermostat probe to make sure it is getting an acurate reading, and maintaining the right temperature?

I position the probe on the heat tape. If you place it in one of the tubs the heat tape might overheat trying to get up to temp. Doing it this way your therm. and tub temp. will read different. All you have to do is play with the temp in the tub by changing therm. , until you have disired tub temp.
