What gets bigger male or females, and what's the average size of each?

As a rule females get bigger than males, but there are exceptions to every rule. As for size, they average three to five feet in length, and here again there are exceptions. Some has to do with genetics also.

My snakes aren't fat, they're big boned.

My biggest girl is around 3000gr. Maybe 4 feet long, give or take a few inches. I have never measured her length. Girth is a little bigger than a pop can.

On average (I stress AVERAGE), females get bigger than males. An adult male's average size is between 3 and 4 feet, with females averaging between 3.5 and 4.5 feet. Some males are bigger than some females, BUT all the largest ball pythons (5 feet ) are female.

My oldest female is 5 feet and 3400 grams. My oldest/biggest male is about 4 feet, and 2000 grams.

Females get larger than males as a rule.

I have a 5 1/2 foot long female that weighs 5100 grams and several females that weigh in at 4000 grams. My largest male is about 3 1/2 feet long and weighs about 1500 grams.

OK, I must be the odd ball here . I've got a 16 year old pair and the male is 3000grams and 5' long. The female is 2717 grams and 4'7".
