My female locked up twice about 2 mabey 2 and a half weeks ago. I dont see any signs of ovulation. Is this normal? Or should I start seeing signs.
Thanks for any help

Quite normal - she won't likely ovulate for several more months (next springish) - keep pairing them up.

You usually don't see ovulation till three or four months after breeding starts. I also keep putting my males in with the females every two to three weeks till I see the ovulation. Here is a link to my last years breeding records and you can see when things started and the time frame before ovulation:

Great record keeping George! Thanks for posting.
In your report, when you say "Bred" does that mean you observed a lockup or that the male and female were put together?

Thanks... The dates that it shows bred were actual lockups. I also keep track of when they were put together and nothing was witnessed but that doesn't make it into the final records for the year.
Thanks again,
George
