i picked this up for cheap,looked good and i couldnt resist,imtrying to get a good flame project going, atleast something hi red/orangy. i hear the flames withmore yellow in there heads as babies loose there reds as adults . how do you think this little guy will turn out ?

I can't see the head real well in the pics but i think it is a very nice looking Flame and one i would consider a true Flame.

The amount of red retained really depends on how dark the red pigment is and how red the head is. Yours seems to be fairly red in the head and overall. But the flash picture may have changed the darkness of the red. Get outdoor pics.

Bottom line. It looks like you did really well with your new aquisition. And i normally don't say that about hypos that people are calling Flames.
