Has anyone produced a double homozygous axanthic or can it even be done? I'm assuming since the different lines aren't compatible then it could be possible. Just thinking it might not brown out like they all seem to do.

I guess in theory that yes it could be done if you have 2 lines that are not compatible it stand to reason they are different genes. So you could create an animal that was HOMOzygous for both lines. Now unless they were visually very different from either line It would take some work to prove that it was in fact double homozygous.
The easiest way would be if you got a male that you suspected of being double HOMOzygous and bread him back to a HOMOzygous female of each line. If you got all Axanthics from both pairings then you would have a good possibility he was double homozygous. Though you might want to do it several seasons or to multiple Homozygous females of each line to make sure you did not just get lucky with the odds the first time around.
I would be interested in seeing if it did infact cancel the brown out effect like you stated.
