Color variation in BCC Litter

kitchi Dec 31, 2007 03:02 PM

It is interesting to see the variation in a given BCC litter and to see how quickly (or not) the color comes in. These three are Guyana siblings born here 9/16/07 and are 3.5 months old. The first one has a gray stripe on the sides but its being over taken by pink. The 2nd is mostly gray still. The 3rd has basically no gray left. The color comes in quicker the more well fed they are but all three of these have been fed the same and are the same size so what you see here is just the normal variation you get in a litter. There is another sibling whose entire body is turning reddish now and another whose entire body is lavender (pics to come). Eventhough these are not huge peaked thin saddled clean animals like some of my others, this litter may turn out to be my favorite yet but look out for 2008! HNY

That last little guy has that classically PERFECT look. Very natural yet colorful. Great boas
