Are there physical markers on het pieds that indicate a snake is indeed het for pied? And, if so what are they? Thanks in advance.

Paternless belly and lateral striping down the last half of the belly. First photo het piebald female 1, second photo het piebald female 2, third photo het piebald male 1.
All my het piebalds are 100% het pied, but I agree with the post below.
There are no forsure markers proven . But breeders who breed Het Pied to normal will keep the babies that have the markers and sell the others. But markers or not they have the same chance to be Het for Pied . The only way to be sure is to prove it out . Good luck . Claude --- Pied X Poss Het Pied

I'm trying it this year with two of my pos. het females. I'll let you all know the results if they do prove out. Every single het I produced this year had the stripe belly "marker". In my opinion, there is a visual marker on the ones that have it. I too have had normals with striped bellies, but they don't look the same. I'll keep everyone posted. And I also agree, there are some 100% hets that DO NOT have the marker.
