breeding and shedding question

Got one that seems odd to me...

One of my pairings the male and female have been mating on and off since early November. They both shed recently... Male on 12/14 and female on 12/20. They've been courting on and off since 11/12 No clear swelling noticed but the female does look larger. The odd question is she just shed again today, just 11 days later. Is that wierd or what?
