coloring change....?

pheonix Jan 01, 2008 02:18 PM

I have 2 "reduced pattern" normals...have had them for about a year and a half. I usually love it when they shed because their colors are so vibrant, but one of them shed the other day and it's just so weird looking at her now, lol. Her all over coloring has faded to a "chocolately" color...when both snakes almost seemed pure black with distinct brown patches. And her head is extremely faded now. I unfortunately can't get pics of this new coloring but hoped you guys would have some general knowledge that would maybe apply. I know that some of the morphs (pastels) and such fade or brown out over time but a year and a half seems kinda soon for that, lol
Thanks!

balls change colors from winter to summer, from being too hot or cold even , too little food or too much,,,and hormones will make females get really light , then later turn really dark....it's all in their breeding cycles.(male or females)...

.....they all change.......
