3L 2W 14in H.....big enough?

I think these are awesome snakes, but don't want to get one if an adult would require a larger cage...I hate to see a cramped animal.

Could you do a 4' long cage? The bigger bloods really can use that extra foot of space.

For perspective, the cages I use are Animal Plastics T-10's, which are 4' long by 2' deep by 15" tall, and I'm very pleased with the results.

Happy New Year!

What do you keep your bloods in before they are big enough for t-10? and how big are they when they gow into the T-10? thanks

I agree with Kara, the T-10's or equivalent sized cage is best for large adult bloods. Most of my adult borneos are in Vision 322's (36x28 footprint) and my largest Sarawaks are in Vision 422 (48x28 footprint). So plan on this size eventually.

IAN: My hatchlings stay in shoeboxes (roughly 7x15 footprint)for the first 6-8months then sweater boxes next depending on growth ranging in size from 11x18 or 18x22. At roughly 2-3 years of age then can fit a Iris CB70 or equivalent footprint cage.

Thats good to know. I had taken the divider out and now they are in 32qt tubs. I'll just buy another rack and add similar sized bloods for know before I invest in a grand worth of cages. many thanks Rich.

My kiddos typically go from baby boxes (6qt) to 15-qt to 32-qt, and then to Iris CB-70 boxes prior to going into a 4' cage. Once the CB-70 starts to feel like a bit of a tight fit, they move up to a T-10.
