whats the best egg laying material?

i'am trying to figure out what is the best egg laying material and i have heard permilite is good also i heard peat moss and alot more material names but i was wondering from someone with personal experience what you guys would suggest?

I use spagnum peat moss and bed-a-beast)coconut fiber). Both are easy to lay in and fairly safe. I have used perlite/vermiculite , but some geckos will inguest it , so I don't use it anymore to lay in.

I use vermiculite with good results so far.

I use a spaghnum moss / vermiculite mix for egg laying.
And perlite as a incubation medium.
