Labeled as a bushmaster; this snake was absolutely amazing. Incredibly large, and had absolutely massive scales. I'm really sorry I didn't get any better pictures of it.

What zoo mate?

The bushmaster was labeled correctly. Hard to determine exactly which one without seeing the head.

Sorry, I should've mentioned that - the Toledo Zoo. There was also an eyelash viper that I couldn't get a good shot of, and a native southern US display with a few rattlers and a cornsnake that I can't believe I forgot to photograph. Not a ton of hots, but a really nice reptile house, with a wide variety of herps.

Great pics. I had a great time at the London Zoo over the summer, the most elapids I think I have ever seen in one reptile house. The black mamba--a hyperactive big one--was in the exhibit where they filmed Harry Potter talking to the python, and it was funny seeing all these little kids oblivious to a huge black mamba that seemed to be begging for attention.
