I was going to put Ernst, Barbour, and Lovich's Turtle of the United States and Canada on my list too, but the list price was pretty steep: I think I saw it at $199.99.

I probably got it from Amazon...I checked and all they have available right now are new and used hardcovers. I checked the publisher (Smithsonian Press) and apparently Harper Collins will be taking over the publishing of many of Smithsonian's titles...this may explain why the book is hard to find in paperback at this time.
