lizard vomit, a few questions

lauraLSU Aug 25, 2003 09:19 PM

I know it is a rather unappetizing topic, but Bonita has been vomiting her meals for a few weeks now. I tell her every day how beautiful she is so I don't think she is having self esteem issues. LOL
She will keep down 3 or 4 medium crickets but any more than that she vomits a day or two later. She is digesting some because I find very normal stool in her favorite potty spots. I found some undigested wax worms (fed Saturday) today along with normal stool. She has been trying to brumate but I have been discouraging it because I don't have anything to brumate her in (I have never brumated her before). Any ideas?

If she is tring to brumate, is it possible she is not basking as much? She may just not be digesting her food, if she is staying in a cooler location. Just a thought. Also some throw up worms when they eat them, once in awhile one of mine will throw one up kind of whole. Sometimes they eat to much ! But anyway, with Bonita it just made me wonder, when you said she has been trying to brumate, that she may not be basking as much as she normally would??????????????? By the way your little guy is adorable ! Eve
