jack7777766 May 22, 2003 06:21 PM

Hi,
I dont know why but I never see my crestie in his humid hide. Its on the bottom right on the pic, its basically a deli cup with a hole and sohangnum moss inside it. Why doesnt he use it???
Ive heard for females the ussually use a delicup without a lid as a laying box and they use this, so Im wondering if I should take the lid of, but then how would the humidity saty in???
any ipnut is appreciated.
Jack

I had a humid hide in my crested'scage for a while, but he never used it and was shedding fine, so I took it out. Not sure why they don't use them.

Don’t worry it is normal. They rarely if ever use it. It is mostly there for laying females or incase your ambient room humidity is really dry. Otherwise you prob don’t even need it. Just give a light spray in the evening and you should be fine.
