Hey Doug,

fancy we meet over in the tree boa forum! She is about 1 year old and is a sweetheart. I hold her once a week or so to give her some exercise. I find that if I hold her once in a while, she'll defecate more frequently. Never been bit by her, she's been calm as can be since day 1. In general, I think the amazon basin emeralds are more laid back than the northern/surinam emeralds which can be biters.

there are some pics on my website of her changing colors in the first year of her life.

That is pretty ironic we met again over here!,....thanks for the info on your little "sweetheart". Glad you handle her once in a while. It also seems it helps keep their intestinal tract moving, and helping avoid constipation.

Their ontogenic color change is no doubt fun to witness!

Oh!,....you would LOVE to see the Sinaloan stamp I have!,...I'll post a pic for you sometime soon, all the snake stamps are at my warehouse right now.

later!,.....~Doug
