What are the best line of ghosts? Where would the Sutherland line of ghost hypos be rated? The pair that I have are awesome and when I learn to post pics I will do so. So they are very pretty snakes but I am just curious about their lineage. Thanks

A Ghost, is a Ghost, is a Ghost. Orange, Yellow, Butterscotch, and Greens are all the same Mutation, just different varitions on the Ball Python color wheel. Polygenics come into play when it comes to the amount of fading, color, Etc. and may or may not be predictable in the outcome of the offspring. That would depend on the individual Male and Female, and how the sequences fall when the offspring are developing. The pigmentation process may also be affected by environmental influences, which can throw a curve ball into having consistant colored/patterned offspring.
I get really tired of people who think that each slightly different colored hypo ball python is it's own new line of the mutation. Evan

So what are the different lineages about. I have heard of bells, nerds, sutherlands, and so on. Which are the nicest? Which is the best? What is the difference? Thanks
Therefore, all lineages are the same Mutation, and one isn't "better" than the other. Greg Graziani is working with two lines that I don't think are compatible with the Green, Yellow,
Orange lineage, but they aren't mainstream yet. I can say that some of the CH Orange Ghosts that have come in over the last few years have been wicked compared to ones produced over here.
what type of substrate is that in the tub? I've really only used newspaper but i like the way that looks..
