Could someone point me the direction of a post,or perhaps a site,where I could see some side by side comparisons of Red Tails?I have just refered to them (obviously mistakenly) as Columbian Red Tails,because I never new there were so many variables.I am on my third one now and none of them look the same and I'm not sure which one,if any are actually Columbians.
Any help with clearing this up would be appreciated!

Post some pictures up here and I'm sure we can be of some help. One pet peeve of mine is that it's Colombian, NOT Columbian.

BCC (or True Red Tail, aka Suriname, Guyanan) - outside, BCI/Colombian - inside. Both adult colorations (each approximately 6')

you got some nice BCI there. some have a slight "pastel" look to them and that last one is just a dark one.

Sorry,I tried to edit my last post but couldn't get it to co-operate.The 1st 2 pics are of the same girl,she has a LOT of speckling underneath and some carry over to her top side.The 2nd one is one of my males and has a very nice pink color on his whole underside and almost no speckilng.The last one actually just left me yesterday he got traded off for a young
7.5' Retic and I miss him already :@( Does that make me weird,lol?
