I would say Pine. Bulls usually have a shorter snout that is more shark like.They both have large rostral's so can't really go by that.

thanks for the input. i bought him as a snow bull but thought his head was not quite rite for a bull. i thought maybe a little pine mixed in. i'll probably never really know.
There are some scale counts, saddle counts that could be used to seperate the two,(Pituophis melanoleucus and P. caternifer), however there are overlaps within the ranges of these characteristics. With just this image and no locality info It would be absolutely impossible to diffinatively distiguish wether this animal is a bull or a pine. Maybe with better pictures someone could give an educated guess but that is all it would be...a guess.
