Early this morning I stepped into my snake room and found something that absolutely shocked me! In the dimly lit room I could clearly see a little yellow worm inside one of my female squam's cage so I quickly grabbed a flashlight and found her in the process of dropping more. In all she had 14 live and healthy babies! Talk about one heck of a birthday present and the funny thing is, I didn't even realize she was gravid.

I know the feeling. In 2004, on Christmas day, before I went to work, I checked my snakes, and I had 22 baby Rhino Vipers born! I didn't know she was gravid either! (pretty good xmas present!)
