Beautiful Pine Todd. How large is he? Looks massive from that first pic.

Thanks Steve.

Yeah- she's getting up there.

I'm not sure, but I'd say she's pushing 5'+.

If she brought anything down from her mom, she'll be a big girl- her mom is a MONSTER!

Here's a quick timeline:

3/8/06:

7/13/06:

2/5/07:

3/17/07:

...and finally, her mother!

No, but maybe Nokturnal Tom will chime in here with pics of the dad... that's him holding his 'big mama', and she is IMPRESSIVE!!!

The father is not so impressive. Funny thing is he looked just like Todds snake and Big Mama until he discovered sex. After that he could care less about food.....all that snake thinks about is getting his hemis wet. He is sooooo thin, he just doesn't eat much. Weirdest thing is this past season he spent most of the year in the same cage with the female. I'd take a ton of rodents and put them in a large container and they'd both go over and eat. The female would devour tons and he'd eat a few. He ate more this season than in the previous ones. Still looks the same...body more like a King than a pit but he is a great pet and produces nice offspring. Just isn't much to look at...

Hey Tom, I was looking at Todd's Southern Pine and was wondering if it came from you. They are some gorgeous animals. The mother is very impressive.

I have that weird Snow-ish one and a normal mate from 06 and a pair of 07s that I may keep too. I think these are very under rated pets. I have seen pissy ones but most of mine are soooo tame. Very laid back. They're really awesome. Tom Stevens

Thanks for the pics Todd. Your patternless Southern pine is gorgeous. I just realized they came from Tom after seeing the below post. Very nice.
