Transporting my BD via Car

high_flier Jan 06, 2008 05:21 PM

Im taking my 8 year old BD to my other place in Florida, Now that I will be spending most of my time down there. The problem is that Im driving a 2 seat car, and I have other stuff to take along with me. Hes been on my car plenty of times and he has never sat still so Im thinking of taking off late afternoon drive throughout the night and be in florida by the morning.(*is that a good idea) Im driving from North Jersey (14-16 hours) so how would I deal with this transportation.

*My plan is just to put him on a shoebox under the dash so he wont be cold during the trip. Any replies will be greatly appreciated since I want to make this as less stressful for him and me.

a shoebox or cat carrier is fine. Just make sure he doesn't get too hot or too cold. Be careful about sitting it down on the floor of the car though as the engine can heat up the floor
