I came home to find that I didnt latch the lid on my 4 foot corn snake. He has been missing for 6 hrs and I have looked every where. Does anybody have any suggestions on where they might hide in a house? Thanks, Dan

I'll try to remember most of the ideas. This is again one of those repeat posts where it would be nice to have a FAQ area.
1. Water of some type out. A snake that big I would use plastic
milk jubs on their side with 1/2" of water, and hope I fine
him in it.
2. Put flour on the floor to see if you see tracks. This does
not work well on carpets.
3. I've heard of people using tape. Mineral oil will get them
off most tape, even duct tape. PLEASE do not use duct tape.
4. Come out at night to see if he is roaming.
5. If you do not have rodents, get a mouse or what ever he eats
and place in a cage easy for his to get to, but not in.
6. Block off obvious ways out of your house.
7. Good luck, I've been there.
