I was looking at getting a thermostat for my snakes. I was looking at Johnson and Ranco, has anyone ever had any experience using these brands? Are they good-temp control and quality wise?

Ive never really used any thermostats befor, but I had a scare today and need to get about three units. Ive heard helix is good but the units are quite exspensive.

I use the Johnson Controls model A419. They are simple on/off controls, but they are inexpensive ($60 from McMaster-Carr) but do their job.

I don't know about the Ranco but the Johnson A419 has never let me down. Takes all the worry out of the way.
