three lined sallies

I have two three-lined salamanders in a 10 gallon aqaurium. Im thinking of covering the bottom in wild moss with a water dish and some sticks to climb on and maybe something to hide under. What do i need to use as a good top for it. Also is there anyway i can keep them off the sides of the aqaurium?
