Picky eater story- get your ball to eat easily..

Umtata1 Aug 25, 2003 11:40 PM

My ball is 1 year now and up until recently he has been a verocious eater.. He started to get picky and I had a feeling it was because he is getting smarter and realized that his prey is already dead. Today I put the defrosted mouse's head sticking out of the end of a empty toliet paper roll and moved it in and out of the end of the roll. My snake loved this, he became instantly interested and active and began to strike at the mouse. It was so cute! I guess in this instance its ok to play with your food.

I cut a slit in the base of our feeding ccontainer, and slide in a long thin piece of plastic and put the "prey" on the end, and simulate walking by sliding the flat piece around
it has not worked yet, but I think it is the smell too
or a SMART snake

'Goodness gracious'
my grandma used to say
'the worlds a scarey place now
things were different in my day'
what horrors will be commonplace,
when my hair starts to grey?
