the White Plains show this past weekend? A guy whos card I lost already,(I think his last name was Markel from Upstate NY) had some absolutely killer Hypo Hondurans. It was so hard for me not to buy any of them. If it was hypo he had it. It was nice to see such quality animals. Thanks.

I saw those Hondo's too, they were at the table up on the stage and i agree that they were all outstanding! I don't really keep hondo's, but he had a few that i was VERY tempted to pick up..

The only Hondo's i have seen that were better than those were produced by Norm Damm.. Norm had about 2 dozen at the Hamburg, PA show about a year ago that were ALL outrageous! And, half way home it took all i had not to turn back and pick up a group!

...would it be worth a 90 minute drive this time of year? I was thinking of going to the February 23rd show but have never been before and did not know what to expect. Thanks.

The Hamburg show is WELL worth a 90 minute drive!.. Hell, i drive 3 hours to get there and i rarely ever miss a show..

depends on what a 90 minute drive is to you.....

I drove 80 minutes this past Sat to go to a gourd shop for my wife.then spent 50$ on a gourd....

I drive 70 or more minutes to eat dinner ........more than once..

Hamburg is 60 for me to get there and 70 or 80 to get home.

Feb last year people were buying......and there was alot left......balls and all....milks not so much......

......I should be there......sorry .....no milks......

I'll definately stop by and yell! You might remember helping me out with some PA law questions before I moved here so I had planned to stop by and say thanks anyway. Too bad no milks....but maybe some corns (I know, wrong forum...LOL).

90 minutes is not a long drive for me, I just did not know if there would be much inventory in Feb.

Probably would not pay $50.00 for a gourd, though....but that is just me.

90 min isn't that bad about the same drive I have, it was fun and I picked up a female hondo hypo for a good price.
The show was crowed, very crowded and was hot as hell but that wont matter so much this time of year.
I would go ago again but only in the cold months.

corns .....yea.....next year they are going out the door asap....no more keeping them this long for no increases in prices.....their sales are down this year......balls are pretty much on hold for someone.....or mine,....LOL...as for milks.....maybe this coming season I'll start making some milks again........and IF I can figure out how to NOT screw up knoblochi (I hope).....I may have some of them....even though they aren't worth crap either.....nor the amel nelsoni......

...anyways..Hamburg is ok......can be a pain......crowded, way too many stupid people, (from many states), thieves, and no sales .......but we call it home......it can be fun too with alot of good people there selling all kinds of stuff......
I miss the older days when "all kinds of stuff" was really that....no more bats, cool lab mice of all sorts.,pygmy opossums, zebra mice, and all kinds of other stuff.....

......drive nice....(I hit a buck last October? I think it was?....doing 70mph on the way there.).....see you there......
