I finally got the window put together for my canopy hood. I still have to poly and stain it, and attach it. Then comes the lights and plumbing that will be run in and out of the hood. Below is a photo of what it will kinda look like when its done. Once the hood is completed, I will be filling the tank the rest of the way up.

Also notice the quality air pump placement to the right, lol.

i am compiling a base of unique and functional turtle habitas to try to convince people that fish tanks alone are not always enough and that they have other options. Your idea is a great example of maximizing space and meeting the turtle's needs.
