Motleys & Arabesque Boas

bahreptiles Jan 07, 2008 07:19 PM

I was reading to post about the Motley Boas and the diffrence in their changing appearance compared to the first/original more recognized examples. This subject immediately made me think of the Arabesque Boas and how their appearance now differs from the first that Steve Hammond produced way back when. I do agree with alot of what Jeff R. said about being bred into Hypos, Albinos and etc. It probably has a large affect on the overall apperance and alter the morphs "signature" trait. I do realize there is no real point to this but, has anyone else noticed this in the Arabesques as well?

It's basically the same as the motleys. Limited number of animals to begin with to make comparisons, and the best of the best is what is going to be shown off. There is variation in every animal, which explains why we always request pics if we're not buying in person. Because no 2 snakes look identical!
