Use the Micro setting, which is usually marked with a flower on most point and click cameras. Good luck!

Hey derek..

The MBK's put on some nice size and they look great! A little blurry...but, great!

You need to find the macro setting on your new camera... I just ordered a new Nikon Digital SLR... so, i hope to be taking some better pics soon!

I just picked up a really nice pair of adult albino prairie kings.. ill take some pix when i have a chance and post them up

Are you a dad yet??

found it in the setting, thanks.

derek, I've found that with my digital, I have better success with the macro setting if I zoom in with the camera and move the camera farther away. For some reason, my camera seems to focus more easily in this way rather than to not zoom the camera but move it closer to the snake. Might just be luck or whatever, but if you find that the macro setting has trouble focusing as close as you like, try to move the camera away and use the zoom feature while in macro.

bluerosy, yeah the camera has it and i played around with it last night. i am going to mess around with it more after i get home from work later.

Bluerosy Jan 08, 2008 12:52 PM

when using the macro lens you need to wait a couple seconds for it to focus and ajdust. You do this by pressing the shutter button half way down and wait for a beep or the light to flash a different color
