1. Age
2. Size
3. Lineage
4. Quality

The older but usually the bigger the more they are going to ask.
If you don't care about what line it is and if it has bad coloration you can find them dirt cheap with a little negotiation
If you want a Nice, Fat, Healthy, Bright Clean Colored your going to pay in that range or a little less. If you want a line like the Lemon, or Ruppel your going to pay more for an exceptional animal from those lineages. If you want a larger animal like a sub-adult or adult keep adding to the price. Can't tell you what your going to find price wise but I have see DIRT CHEAP ugly pastels and I have see WOW I CANT BELIEVE HE WANTS THAT MUCH WITH TODAYS MARKET but gorgeous pastels and everything inbetween.

I got my PAIR of Graziani line pastels for $325. Everything is about waiting and shopping around. I bought mine just before Christmas and the guy really needed the bucks. I didn't even haggle...he just kept contacting me with a lower price until I couldn't refuse. Both snakea are great. This is my female.

thanks for the replies, i expected a little variation between good and bad coloration and ages, i was just looking for an 07 that i can raise till breeding age and hopefully cinnys and spiders would be more in my grasp a couple of years from now.
i cant believe 325 for that pair...wow thats a great deal!!!! that was to the point of you have to do it haha!

Yes but if you plan on breeding and combo's you want to start with the best looking animals to breed. Ugly parents usually equal ugly babies.

The price of Pastels has fallen to the point where the real value is only in females. If I was you, I would look around and find a female for $250-300 and ask for a free male. There is no harm in asking, and the right breeder just might want to get rid of the last male they have, or give up a male to make a sale, and sell two snakes for shipping purposes, or just get rid of another mouth to feed. Good luck.
