Mexican black kings.

I find the solid black fascinating.Ive seen some for sale in the posted adds.Im having one of the wonderful urges again to add to my collection.Are there any pitfalls to this breed of king?Im not a newbie to the snake world but im mostly a boa/python/corn/leapord tortoise man.Anything peculiar about the black mexican king i need to know about?Thank you in advance for your help and answers....Paul.

I keep and breed them and they're very easy to care for. My adults never refuse a meal and most of my hatchlings readily accept frozen/thawed pinkies immediately. They are as easy to care for as Corns, they're just more ravenous and as with most Kings you have to watch out for a feeding response. Once mine are out of the cage they never bite if you have clean hands. After handleing other snakes or rodents look out! They're very easy to breed and the eggs are incubated just like Corns too. They're great snakes Tom
