fryed some grashoppers

hi
ik breed grashoppers in mine shed.
now mine wife whas on her job and there they talk about baked grashoppers .
so mine gurlfriend told them i can arange them if you want?
so i have baked monday morning grashoppers in a fryingpan lol
i made with floweroat and water and a egg pepper and salt to put the grashoppers in to make a layer around them .
then i take of the wings and legs after i put them in vrieser first to kill them.
i baked them in sunflowerseed oil .
mine gurl told me they like the grashoppers allot .
some even pul of the baking layer to taste the real grashopper.
some saying it tasted like scrimps .

so now i can give a BBQ this summer hehhe
there also excist recepie for mealworms .

Yep some people do that here in America too! I know the Armstrong's (cricket breeders) offer chocolate covered freazed-dried crickets and mealworms. They are not too bad!
Here is a great recipe to try:
-Take a grasshopper, freeze to kill, remove the wings and legs.
-Add a bit of honey to the grass hopper.
-Wrap in a day lilly flower, any color..
-Dip in pancake batter
-fry in a pan of oil or deep fat fryer until the dough floats.
-Sprinkle with powdered suger and enjoy.

I serve these to people who have never been to my house before and get rave reviews!
