Plug in the Bowl

medyssa Jan 09, 2008 11:03 AM

So last night I was checking on everyone, Dudette and Sango have taken a break for a little while it seems, but I did catch them at it again Monday morning, so that makes me happy. When I looked in on Copper and Dude though, Copper is in a deep blue shed and Dude was looking pretty normal, although he was getting blue the other day. I was cleaning out their waterbowl and low and behold! A plug in the water, hadn't seen one except for in posts here before.
Yes, its just as disappointing in real life for me as it is when I see them in other posts.
So does this mean that Dude is done for the season? Or is there the possibility that he might be packing more? I was thinking that if he isnt able to do anything more that I would just put in Sango with Copper this season, which I had originally planned but I really wanted to see if Dude would breed and what his babies would look like.

during breeding season I always find them, IMO a sign the male is fertile and excited. My males are definitely packing more than a single load!!! I've had one male breed 4 females in a single season AND three of those litters arrived within a three day window, talk about packing more than a single load, that boy was not only packing but also quick on the reload!!!

Here's some graphic pics of one of my male BCI's leaving a load on the paper.....

Its great to know that someone is always here for me *Awww* Thanks for the reply. You've made my day, hopefully Copper will shed and be ready to go next week. Howard is excited "I want as many as you can give me!"
(I think that is code for "I really miss Dave, but you will do."

Thats funny. Everytime I talk to him he mentions buying your babies as if you two had something going for years. Hopefully I will have enough babies to supply him as well as another buyer that told me they were interested AFTER I sold all my babies last year. But I am going to keep myself humble and expect only for one litter this year, that way if I have more its like a bonus prize!
I just found out I'll be down by your house tonight, my stepdad lives about three blocks away, but I never think of it as going to his house, its more like I'm going close to where Dave is!
Oh BTW, love the pearls! I can't wait to see what you can do with those.
