I want to know about every ones great set ups, how people out there 'spoil' their dragons with great cages, way beyond the necesary rock branch lite and hiding spot...
TELL ME ALL ABOUT UR CAGES
Me...
I build my own
right now my 3 month old citrus beardy is in a 48"x18" cage with a fiscuss bonsai, a large branch reaching across the cage, with a living sweet potato vine wrapped around it. a busted taracotta pot for his hideout, and a mountainous rock arch build for basking.
I build my cages with wood/glass/screen
this cage has only glass on the bottom and front, allowing for me to 'side' light my beardy, my light beams in from the right hand side of the cage, creating many many different basking spots at different distances and heights.
Isis truly seems to love jumping up and down from spot to spot, he does not each either of the living plants in his cage, however has taken the ODD snip at a leaf. he is fed in a seperate cage, with paper towel as temp substrate until 10" length
On a help side, he seems to jump downward about his body length from a branch to his rock, he does this 10 times a day as he runs about, is this safe" or should i remove that perticular perch?
Come summer, when Isis is 9 months old, I plan on buying a submisive female sunfire dragon, and caging them together, i have
read much about this topic, and gotten many different opinions.
I wish to have 2 dragons 1 cage, what is your recomended best way of achieving this, i figure my chances to do so are now while they are young.
Talk, tell, share,
Awsome
Drew
