Hi, If a female is gravid will a male still try and get some loving? Would she allow it?
We are not sure if she is pregnant or not, had her for 2 months now. We have witnessed the courtship, but never the act or it was so quick we coudn't tell, (he is young 
). Seems like daily he is putting out is best moves, he gives it his best college try, and we all know how hard college guys try. She won't have any of it.
It's a little early in the season for mating still. Generally, the female signals the male when she is ready, otherwise she doesn't allow it.
