Wow, that is outrageous. I guess you have to decide whether you want to spend the time on this to get back the shipping costs, but if so, here are a couple ideas:
1) Tell them you are going to put in a complaint with Paypal
2) Tell them you are going to call their local "Troubleshooter" type news person.
3) Tell them you are going to file a complaint with the state attorney general
4) .... complaint with the Better Business Bureau
5) All of the above
If they sent you the wrong snake, they have no right to charge you for shipping, unless they are going to send you the right snake with no shipping charges.
Keep us posted, I'd like to hear how this turns out. Was the snake you received a different species? Same species different color? Did the ad say the snake you'd get would be the same on pictured?
Thanks,
Ed
>>advertise one snake, say they got it, paypal them the money for it and they send you the wrong snake to the wrong address. I had to make a personal trip to the UPS hub center only to find out the lady on the phone lied about me being able to pick it up at 2:30 after a 10:11 missed delivery to the wrong address. After speaking with someone at the hub they informed me I couldn't get the package until the driver returned between 7:30-8:30 p.m. So I said if he driving around for 5 more hours he can drive his a-- to my house. After a couple of minutes of debate I got the package a couple hours later only to find out it is the wrong snake. I have all the e-mails between them. Only to find out they will refund the money less the shipping. Since this is not my fault how can I go about getting all of it back???
