For cricket food in a pinch at home I take 1 cup of cheerios, and 1 cup Total. 1/2 cup of oatmeal. I add to it about 2 tbs. of fish food, and one tbs. of powdered milk. Food process this all together and the crickets love it. My main cricket food is what is called chicken egg layers mash. This can be purchased at a feed store for only a couple bucks for a huge bag. With these foods make sure you keep something in there for moister. Slice of orange, potato, chunk of squash all work well and they eat this too. Just make sure if the moister level is getting to high to take out the moist foods for a few hours. In a pinch or for gutloading. The dragon food pellets work too. Just get a small dish or lid and put moistened dragon pellets in and they will eat this and also receive moisture

A friend says he uses dry whey protien shake mix and baby cereal for his ciricket food. Has anyone heard of this? He says he has had no problems with it. What do you all think?
