I LOVE double hets like that. They will produce the next coolest thing. Can't wait to see the results!

looks 111% like a snake that I sold to Brandon O. a few years ago. The biggest female brooks I've ever seen. when he had her she grew again, to probably close to six feet and nearly as big as your forearm. She used to lay 20 eggs without breaking a sweat and as a 2x het ghost, that came in handy. I would have to say she's 10 or 11 years young now. Brandon has some cool pics of her against a blue background in his photo gallery that should be made into a pinup/poster.

do you own her now? I knew Brandon sold her but I do not know to whom...

BTW, do you ever have post sales regret? there's probably a jillion snakes I wish I didn't buy- some non feeders, busted projects, etc., but about five or ten I wish I didn't sell. that girl is one I wish I held onto. duh.

sorry Dave

That is a DH Peanut Butter x hypo. and it is a male that I produced.

Pure stock from s ,dade county though. As both the PB and hypo I had were not outcrossed and came from original stock. So it is a pretty example of what breeders used to strive for before the hypos came along in the early 90's

that snake in "your" picture is actually my picture of a female dh ghost that Dave B produced. Here's the same pic taken from my kingsnake gallery.

I love 'em and I will always have one maybe two around, but as far as breeding them I am probably done. I achieved all that I set out to and more. Family demographics have changed ( for the good) and the time isn't there to do the collection as well as one would deserve, so I have reduced numbers and changed focus that meet everyone's and everything's needs.
I will wish and grunt and groan for what I used to have, because those were good days. I hope too many don't mind. In the mean time, when I see a snake that I like I will certainly cheer on the breeder and/or hobbyist to continue on and have a great pet or develop a great lineage.

because I apparently didn't read it right the first time. That will be a very good project. It will be interesting to see what white wall does to colors in the albino as compared to what happens to the white side hypos.
very good project I do say...
