Quick Newbie Breeding Question

I saw them locked up for the first time on December 18, and then saw four more good lock ups total until about December 28.
Since then, she has been spending every single day under her water bowl, something she never does. I've still been introducing, but he's just gone and slept and she stays under the water bowl. I was getting all hopeful, and then...
This morning I saw them locked up again. This means she's not gravid yet, right? Because I'm pretty sure that I read that they'll stop locking once she's got it.

Keep pairing them up until you witness the female ovulate. You can't miss it. It will look like she has just swallowed a football
