Just a few quick questions...

zeroto4legs Jan 10, 2008 10:19 AM

im new to the gtp forum, but im looking into my next snake, as of right now its between a red tail boa, jcp, blood python, and a gtp.

i was wondering what is the biggest gtp, and how big do they get? and how much would a uscb baby cost?
also whats the besst tempered gtp? and how much would a uscb baby cost?
And on a avg. whats the cost of a uscb baby cost(like the price range? nothing like to breed by more like a gtp for a single person?

can anyone post some pic of there custom built cages? thanks

I am work and cant recall the excact measurements but Greg Maxwell's book (great book for anything GTP) listed a GTP that I believe was around 7plus feet, Greg has a great care sheet on his site.

As for pricing that is tricky becuase prices can range from $450-$1000 plus it all depends on what your whiling to pay and from whom, reputable GTP breeders typically sell at a higher price becuase they offer allot more then just a sale.

Right now people that I would buy from are Greg Maxwell, and Brad Chambers and a few others on this forums who's names escape me..

As for a custom built cage here is mine for my JCP.
40" wide - 36" tall

If I'm looking at what I think I'm looking at, you just gave me a good idea.
I've never been adverse to stealing a good idea.
Just remember imitation is the highest form of flattery.

6 or 7 feet and 2000 - 3000 grams is a very large female. Heres a video of a large (2000 grams) girl -

and how much would a uscb baby cost?
350 - 6,000 dollars depending on what colors you're looking for.

>>also whats the besst tempered gtp?
2 calm chondros tend to produce calm offspring. Best best bet is to ask the person who has the group.
