i just watched it online, ive seen that guy before, a little goofy but not as bad as other "reptile experts" on tv. im guesing he was feeding a prepared reptile sausage, not the crap people eat, though i wish he would have said that, now some dumb a$$ will get a monitor from some pet shop and feed it the processed crap from the grocery store.

I once remember seeing an old documentary on reptiles where a good sized water that was about 7ft. actually lived on the waste from a meat processing plant that it had lived behind for many years. While I personally wouldn't recommend feeding hot dogs to waters on any other living creature for that matter there is in fact (as hard of it is to believe) stuff out there much much worse than hot dogs and monitors do live on it
ha that is funny. when people feed their monitors turkey what kind of turkey exactly do they feed?
That would be extra lean ground turkey straight out of the meat section of your local grocery store.
Can you give us a link? Thanks!
