I bet these are all realated in the long run.

Jaap got his hypo tricolors from Peter Rice along with most other hondo breeders in Europe.

That increasing black towards the tail I think is one of the give aways for this blood line. Along with clear/reduced-black bellies, occasionally that head pattern, white streaks without black borders on the neck, bellies and sides.

Yes,I have several killer animals (not yet posted) from Thomas that are from Peter rice stock.Thats why I think that calling them Jaap line is bad. Its more l;ike Peter Rice x Terru Dubham line etc....It really isn't japps line oper say.
I just call mine Eoropean line or something like that.
Lol...

very nice animal - good to hear that you received it -
think you are a lucky man, as you know that this lovely snake
should stay in my stock - butthere are to much holdbacks and as I know who have this "killers" I`m satisfy - hopefully you will produced some more Killers....-

i agrre to your statements about the origin of the vanishing tricolors - I think Peters animals are also connected to some bloodline origin in the usa - here at europe we didn`t have so much wild living hondurans... - the albino line maybe is from a german stock, but I think Burnsy can explain it better...

cheers

Man, I love those Jaap K. Hondos., you can sure tell his line right off.
I do really like the black eyed Hondo too. Looks like it took a few punches from a mouse right in the eyes.
Those are all great looking animals.
