Broken toes?

green_jello369 Jan 10, 2008 05:51 PM

I think my iguana has a broken toe. I dont know how it happened or anything but its his long toe on his back foot. Is there anything i should be afraid of or anything that i can really do to help him? Hes not having any problems getting around or climbing so should i just let it heal itself or is that the only thing i can really do?

How do know it is broken? Sometime they can become dislocked which is an easy fix if you know what you are doing.

Give this a try if you think it's just dislocated. Use a cardboard (toiletpaper)roll wrap the toe around it firmly with slight stretch as you roll.

If it's broke you can try to wrap it yourself, but I would get a vets opinion.
