Well frequent handling is a good thing... and the manner in which you hold an aggressive snake is important as well.
When you hold him you have to build his comfort level with you... and that may take several months (I'm working it a LOCO hatchling myself right now)
Try picking him up with a snake hook and grabbing him GENTLY from the back end... (aggressive snakes are usually extremely "head shy".)
**head shy:
Try to let the snake "run" freely through your fingers without any sudden movements that would scare him.
if you're using both hands to handle the snake (which you should be), approach (with the hand not holding the snake) slowly/cautiously (better if you approach from the "underside" of the snake) while you guide him from one hand to the other gently.
when you are ready to put him back down set him down in the cage gently... dropping him in there or dangling him by the tail to get him in his cage will just make him nervous/scared and will result in aggression. try to lower your hand in his enclosure and allow him to leave your hand at his own will (building his comfort again)
Repeat the above at least once a week and he'll gradually become better
